沖縄・与那国島の海底都市を何故発掘しないの？

エジプトのナイル川に水没した都市の遺跡物が来年５月から大英博物館で公開されますが、日本にも沖縄の海に眠る古代都市の遺跡があるのですが、何故に発掘しないのでしょうかね？

これが明らかになると、世界の古代史が塗り替えられる。
