ご存知の方も多いと思いますが。

15年以上の脳波の信号処理技術研究により、脳波から感性を把握するアルゴリズムを開発。感性とは、美しさや心地よさ、面白さなどを知覚する心のはたらきであり、その大半は脳内で無意識的、直感的に起きると言われている。
現在、脳波からリアルタイムに「興味度」「好き度」「ストレス度」「集中度」「眠気度」の5つの感性情報を読み取ることと、それらの組み合わせから自動車など移動体の乗り心地やオーディオの音質、空間の快適さ、媒体やコンテンツがどのくらい興味を引きつけているかなど、脳波を用いて定量評価する。
現在、多様な企業やプロジェクトで感性を把握し数値化する技術が活かされている。
人間の身体や能力には限界があると誰しもが思っています。
しかし、本来ないはずの器官が身体についていたら？しかもその器官を意思の力で動かすことができたら？
わたしたちは脳波を測定するセンサーを使用して、新しい人間の器官を開発しました。
「necomimi」は人間の身体や能力を拡張する、まったく新しいコミュニケーションツールです。
ネコの耳の形をしたこの機械は、脳波を利用して、あなたが言葉に出すよりも早くあなたの状態を表現します。
頭の上に「necomimi」をつけてください。あなたが集中すると、耳はピンと上に立ち上がります。あなたがリラックスすると、耳はくたりと寝た状態になります。
集中とリラックスが同時に訪れると、耳は立ち上がり、ピクピクと動きます。この状態はプロのスポーツ選手などがその力を最も発揮する状態と言われています。
表現しようとする以外の自分の状態を外部に表すことによって、どのような感情の変化が訪れるでしょうか？
面白い？恥ずかしい？怖い？最初は違和感を感じるかもしれません。しかし装着をつづけると、ある程度、脳波で耳の動きをコントロールできるようになります。そのとき「necomimi」はあなたの身体の一部になります。
上記のネコミミを発展させたのが、下記の気になるシーンは自動的に録画されるシステム。

About "neurocam"
neurocamは、あなたのキモチを理解するウェアラブルカメラシステムです。頭につけたセンサーから脳波を解析し、あなたが「気になる瞬間」を自動的に記録してくれます。
解析アルゴリズムは慶応大学満倉准教授により開発された「好意」「興味」の感性値を基に、neurocamのために共同開発したオリジナル。記録しておきたい瞬間を「気になる度」として0～100に定量化しています。気になる度が60を超えると、5秒間の短いGIF動画が自動的に撮影／保存されます。GIF動画には「気になる度」の他にタイムスタンプ、位置情報が記載され、アルバム機能から閲覧する、Facebookにシェアするなどして楽しむことができます。手動で映像を撮影するマニュアルモードもあります。
プロトタイプのハードウェアのベースになっているのはNeurosky社の脳波センサーMind Wave Mobileに最新版の「BMDチップ」を搭載した特注脳波センサーです。スマートフォンを側頭部につけ、脳波解析機兼カメラとして使用することで、まるで装着者の頭の中を覗いているかのようなヴィジュアルになっています。

About "necomimi"
People think that our bodies have limitations, but just imagine if we had organs that don’t exist, and could control that new body?
We created new human organs that use a brainwave sensor.
Necomimi is the new communication tool that augments the human bodies and abilities.
This cat’s ear shaped machine utilizes brainwaves and expresses your emotional state before you start talking. Just put on Necomimi and if you are concentrating, this cat’s ear shaped machine will rise. When you are relaxed, your new ears lie down. If you are concentrating and relaxing at the same time, your new ears will rise and actively move. In general, professional sports players demonstrate this ability the most.
What will happen when people show their feelings even when they don’t express them? Interesting? Ashamed? Scared? In the beginning, people may feel strange, however people quickly become accustomed to controlling their new ears with their brainwaves. Right now, Necomimi can become a part of your body.

The users interests are quantified on a range of 0 to 100. The smartphone camera is triggered to automatically record and save 5 second GIF clips of scenes when the interest value exceeds 60. The scene is saved together with timestamp and location, and can be replayed in the album function. Scenes can also be taken manually under the "manual mode". It can also be shared socially on Facebook.
